Mensa Brain Test Review

This iPhone application, just like the American Mensa Brain Test organization, is designed to test human IQ. The official license from Mensa to perform the testing belongs to Barnstorm Games that have their link positioned right on the Mensa official website.
So if you think about testing your intellect and that of your friends in order to find out how smart you all are, this application is an excellent tool to do it.
It is recommended to start from Training tab as a first feature to use, which is a five- minute test on five questions. Upon the completions of the test the user can review the answers that have a “Why?” feature in the upper right corner. This feature gives details on every one of your answers like explanations why it was right or wrong. Your knowledge will be tested in different aspects, such as language and vocabulary, logic and math, in order to get a clear picture of your IQ level.
This goes as a sort of training. And to take the real test the user is offered three options of different length to choose from: the short one -20 questions long, the Medium – 40, and the Long one – 60 questions long. The user is given one minute per question. Answers submitted sooner are accepted and if the time is up without an answer the user will lose a score. The “Finish? button pressed, when the test is over (even if it is over ahead of the set schedule), will calculate the score. Further on the user is offered the option of sharing this core in the Facebook as something to be proud of. The only thing that is a bit annoying about the real test option of this application is that it wouldn't allow seeing which questions were answered wrong and what are the right answers to these questions. And that is done maybe in order not to reveal the logic with which the test is compiled.
The application allows to take track of the user's scores every time they take a new test in order to see the improvement and get motivated to achieve better results until they will be prepared enough to take the original Mensa test and, who knows, even join the ranks of the elect highly intelligent.
The design of the application is a rather nice one with cool blue outline around the selected answer. Another convenient feature is that it allows going back to previous questions and changing the answer if the user feels like doing it.
This app is a fine intellectual solution to busy oneself with when waiting or travelling, as well as can be an excellent entertainment for the whole family, though it is not recommended to play it very often in order not to lose interest and excitement of the game.
